Workshop: Parents Learning Together—“Positive Discipline Strategies for All Children”

Content: Discipline can be an issue in dealing with children for any parent, childcare provider, or teacher. With Positive Discipline there are many rewards; such as remaining in control, avoiding power struggles, staying calm, and being able to role model appropriate behavior. The presenter, Valerie von Behren, MSDE, has worked in support of children with disabilities and specifically children with challenging behaviors for the past 16 years in a variety of settings.
